Your role as a caregiver

Role of caregivers

The support that caregivers like you provide for loved ones with AML is very important. That's because people facing the disease may feel overwhelmed, confused, or scared.

There is no universal approach to caring, and every situation is different. But caregivers often take an active role in their loved one’s AML journey:

  • Doing research to help learn about AML or AML treatment options
  • Booking appointments and driving to and from healthcare providers
  • Helping with daily needs, activities, and personal care
  • Providing emotional support, comfort, and encouragement
Being on this website is a great step for helping your loved one learn about AML and ONUREG.
