Caring for yourself
It’s easy to forget about your own well-being when you’re a caregiver. Finding the time to focus on yourself will ultimately make you an even better caregiver for your loved one.
Here are some self-care strategies:
Spend time with your friends and engage in activities that make you feel happy and relaxed
Remember to eat well, get good sleep, and exercise when you can
Seek out online communities, events, or support groups where you can meet other AML caregivers
